There was once a time when I would go to Times Square every day - CAN YOU BELIEVE? Now it takes a pretty special occasion to get me there, but one that definitely calls for attention is the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS flea market (aka, the Broadway Flea Market). YES, It is a lot of playbills, posters, Sutton Foster shoes and cookies baked by the cast of Wicked, but there are also some great gems! One year, an old roommate found a working Polaroid 600 with a few packs of film for $10! Myself, a huge RENThead, I'm always psyched to find some last remaining totems of the original production. Excited to see what's in store this year!
